Kade Verwey Has A Score To Settle In BSB British Junior Supersport 2019

Nine podiums including two race wins took Kade Verwey to a solid fourth overall in the 2018 British Junior Supersport Championship but the XG Racing Kawasaki rider wants more and is back to challenge for top honours this year.
A packed off-season programme has seen Kade improve both in terms of his riding and his off-track fitness meaning a leaner and hungrier Kade will be lining up on the Silverstone grid for the opening round in a few weeks’ time.
Once again benefiting from the experience of reigning British Superbike Champion Leon Haslam who remains affiliated to both him and brother Luke, Kade is more than ready to unveil his 2019 colours and show his intentions on track from the opening race of the season.
Running a plain black Kawasaki with a plain premier helmet and last year’s leathers during testing, fans and supporters will get their first glimpse of Kade’s XG Racing machine in all its 2019 glory just prior to round one, held at his home circuit Silverstone.
Kade Verwey:
“I don’t want to dwell on last season too much, I mean fourth overall is good, but it could have been better. This year I am racing to win the title. I have been training really hard and I just need to come out fighting and challenge for the overall win. A podium in every race and no mistakes would be nice! It is important that I continue to grow as a rider and get faster so that whatever I do in 2020 I am ready. I am also really looking forward to continuing to work with Leon Haslam, he helps massively with everything both on and off track and as there’s not many clashes with his World Superbike commitments it should be even better. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve as a team and I hope that everyone will follow my social media and come along for the ride.”
